Vladimir Jean-Gilles has been at SHIFTER for almost 10 years in a number of roles, from film critic, to film Section editor, to editorial assistant, and now as associate producer with SHIFTER Entertainment. As a media personality, he has appeared on several local platforms, including CBC, CTV, CHUO, and the Ottawa Citizen, as well as several international outlets in Europe and the United States. On top of being one of the editors of SHIFTER Magazine and producers at SHIFTER Entertainment, Vladimir is also the film critic for CBC's All In A Day, a drive time radio show hosted by Alan Neal.

Vladimir's work as a film critic and voting member of the Critics Choice Association has taken him from Hollywood to Manhattan where he had the chance to meet and interview some legendary icons in the world of music and cinema, including Tracee Ellis Ross, Billie Eillish, Leonardo Di Caprio, Robert De Niro, Christopher Nolan and many more. 

Vladimir divides his time between SHIFTER and Ottawa Tourism where he is serves as Travel Media Relations Manager. This position has allowed him to connect with media outlets and personalities from all over the world and host them in Ottawa to help produce and create travel media related content that showcases Ottawa as an attractive touristic destination. His work in travel media has taken him across Canada and the world, including Paris, Puerto Rico, New York, Mexico, and Turkey.
